What is the Human Resources Development Support Grant?
This scheme provides grants to cover part of the training costs incurred when employers and similar organisations carry out vocational training and similar activities, in accordance with a plan, to enable their employees to acquire specialist knowledge and skills relevant to their duties.

Reskilling Support Course for Business Expansion and Other Activities
当センターの研修に関し、
新規事業の立ち上げなどの事業展開に伴い、事業主が雇用する労働者に対して新たな分野で必要となる知識及び技能を習得させるための訓練として、計画に沿って実施した場合等に、訓練経費や訓練期間中の賃金の一部が助成されます。
Regarding the training courses offered by our centre,
In connection with business expansion, such as the launch of new ventures, training is provided to enable workers employed by business owners to acquire the knowledge and skills required in new fields; where such training is carried out in accordance with a plan, a subsidy is available to cover part of the training costs and wages during the training period.Subsidy rate: 75% (60%)

Regarding the training courses offered by our centre,
As training designed to enable employees to acquire job-related knowledge and skillsif carried out in accordance with a plan, subsidies are available to cover training costs and a portion of wages during the training period, amongst other expenses.
Subsidy rate: 45% (30%) The figures in brackets indicate the subsidy amount and rate for organisations other than small and medium-sized enterprises
60% for fixed-term contract workers, etc.; 70% where fixed-term contract workers, etc. are converted to permanent employees, etc.
Please note: Eligibility for the grant is determined following a comprehensive assessment of various factors, including the individual company, employees, training content, delivery methods, type of training, eligible expenses, procedures and appropriate labour management practices.
Regarding training requirements
The training programmes offered by our centre meet the following requirements necessary for receiving grants under the Human Resource Development Support Scheme’s ‘Human Resource Development Support Course’ and ‘Business Expansion and Reskilling Support Course’.

It is OFF-JT (training conducted separately from the company’s business activities)

It must be carried out as non-business training

It is not a flat-rate service where the cost per training session is unknown

The aim is to facilitate the acquisition of knowledge and skills necessary for the general public in their professional lives, and is not intended to be provided to specific employers

The standard study time must be 10 hours or more, or the standard study period must be one month or more

The training must be job-related and fall into one of the following categories:

Training designed to enable employees to acquire the specialist knowledge and skills required for business expansion into new fields

Although the organisation does not engage in business operations, this training is designed to enable employees to acquire the specialist knowledge and skills required to undertake tasks related to the promotion of digital transformation (DX) and green and carbon-neutral initiatives within the company.

Procedure(For reference)
As a prerequisite for the application,
・After appointing an in-house vocational skills development coordinator
and drawing up an in-house vocational skills development plan
, the following procedures must be carried out with the relevant Prefectural Labour Bureau or Hello Work office.
① Submission of the Notification of Vocational Training Implementation Plan
● Preparation of the Notification of Vocational Training Implementation Plan and other documents
● Submit the ‘Notification of Vocational Training Implementation Plan’ and the necessary documents to the relevant Prefectural Labour Bureau no later than one month prior to the start date of the training (the application procedure may be carried out either by each establishment covered by employment insurance or collectively by the head office).
② Provision of training, etc.
● Conduct in-house training delivered by internal or external instructors, or attend external training courses held at educational and training facilities
* All costs relating to the training must have been paid in full by the time the reimbursement claim is submitted.
③ Submission of the Application for Payment
● Submit the ‘Application for Payment’ and the necessary documents to the Labour Bureau within two months from the day following the completion of the training
