~Consensus building based on collaboration and trust
How can it be achieved?
The Inquiry Intelligence Center focuses on "consensus building" to arrive at a satisfactory answer among various parties, and is exploring methods to build good relationships with various stakeholders. Below is a summary of the research attempts on consensus building that the Center has undertaken so far.
Round Table
Roundtables are a very effective meeting technique for bringing together diverse participants for discussion and the exchange of ideas.
At our Center, we are conducting research to clarify the processes and elements necessary for designing and implementing roundtables that contribute to effective decision-making and the exchange of ideas.

Evidence-Based Advocacy
Evidence-based advocacy is the process of integrating and analyzing independent data from different sectors, such as research, policy and activist groups, clinicians, and practitioners, and using the information gained to advocate.
Not only is it important for civil society organizations to engage in evidence-based advocacy, but objective evidence also contributes to building trust and common understanding in consensus building.
